GET UP AND CELEBRATE WITH DANCE, SHABATH STARTS AT SUNSET. REMEMBER WE STAY HOME AND REST. THIS IS A TRUE SHABATH - NO BUYING OR SELLING ON SHABATH - NO MEETINGS, NO EXERCISE OR GOING TO SEE FRIENDS, NO PICNICS. WE ARE CALLED TO COVENANT OBEDIENCE, WHICH MEANS WE STAY IN OUR HOMES AND REST, PRAY AND READ. YOU CAN EAT NICE FOOD BUT NOT COOK ON A FLAME GAS OR NATURAL FIRE - YOU CAN USE ELECTRIC THOUGH. SO CELEBRATE, ENJOY AND DON'T STOP THE FEELING. HAVE A REAL SHABATH.
WE JUST CAN'T STOP THIS FEELING OF SHABATH - WHERE NO WORK IS TO BE DONE, HOW EXCITING IT IS TO JUST REST OUR BODIES AND FLOAT IN HIS PROTECTION?
HOW EXCITING THAT WE CAN PARTICIPATE IN OBEDIENCE TO THE ANCIENT COVENANT AND REST. THIS IS A DECLARATION OF OUR LOVE FOR MESSIAH.
REMEMBER SHABATH STARTS FRIDAY SUNSET AND FINISHES SATURDAY SUNSET. THE JEWS HAVE A TRADITIONAL FRIDAY EVENING DINNER WHERE THEY INVITE FRIENDS, THEY GO TO RESTAURANTS AND PEOPLE'S PLACES - THEY DANCE AND CELEBRATE.
This behaviour is a tradition not Turah instruction which says we have a family dinner in our homes for those who live with us - Sons and daughters who have left the home do their own Shabath in their own homes and then REST until the next sunset - no going out and spending money. This behaviour is our worship and something we can do to honour Yahusha. Traditions and customs are not Turah.
The close of Shabath is on Saturday evening at sunset. If you can't stop the feeling and you want to celebrate your "rest worship." enjoy.
