Broken down to 7weeks (Daniel 7:25) ie. The command to restore and build Yerushalayim is 7 years ie. 7 x 7 = 49 years.

And from once it's built >>> to the Messiah is 62 weeks x 7 = 434 years ... Hence, 49 + 434 = 483 years.

To restore and build Yerushalayim was from Artaxerxes in 444 BC. But there were 4 decrees given by 3 Medes-Persia Kings. So the question is 'W̲h̲o̲s̲e̲ ̲d̲e̲c̲r̲e̲e̲ ̲w̲e̲ ̲s̲h̲o̲u̲l̲d̲ ̲t̲a̲k̲e̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲u̲n̲d̲e̲r̲s̲t̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲4̲8̲3̲ ̲y̲e̲a̲r̲s̲ ̲f̲r̲o̲m̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲k̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲M̲e̲s̲s̲i̲a̲h̲?̲'

Cyrus gave a decree in 537 BC to rebuild Yerushalayim (Ezra 1:1-4). Darius 1 reaffirmed the order of Cyrus and hastened the order (Ezra 6).

1. He gave a decree to Ezra (as recorded in Ezra 7:12-26) to re-establish the rule of Yahudah to be independent from any rule. 457BC it says it was the 7th year of the King.

Why do we take Artaxerxes' second decree and not Cyrus/Koresh’s Decree ?

Daniel’s Prophecy says (in Daniel 9:25) to RESTORE and BUILD Yerushalayim.

The word for RESTORE is ᴴ⁷⁷²⁵ ˢʰᵘᵇ שוב ... which means RETURN, but return to whom? The rule back to Yahudah and rebuild is the word ᴴ¹¹²⁹ ᵇᵃⁿᵃʰ בנה ... which also means BUILD.

So '𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝' was the decree which only fits the bill if we see that Artaxerxes' second decree fits perfectly in 444 BC as he first commands Ezra in 457BC to re-establish the rule and in 444BC tells Nehemiah to complete repairing Yerushalayim.

To RESTORE came in 457 BC (Ezra 7:12-26) and to BUILD came only by Artaxerxes in 444 BC (as recorded in Nehemiah 2).

The command to RESTORE the rule back came as aligned with Moses' Law which fits the bill to take Artaxerxes' Decree to be taken as the Decree and then map the time from there.

If the 483 years began in 444BC then the Messiah would appear in 39BC (483 = 7 x 7 + 62 x 7 as per Daniel 9:25) minus 444 = 39, WHICH IS 7 YEARS OFF!! ... considering the 360 days Lunar Calendar of literal days. But if you see the dates as they move from BC to AD there is a switch from the 360 day Lunar Calendar to the Solar Calendar ... so as per calculations with Roman calendars we get:

483 x 360 lunar calendar = 173880 days ...

483 x 365.24219879 solar year = 176412 days ...

173880 - 176412 = 2̳5̳3̳2̳

Now to convert back to years 2532/365.24219879 = 6.9323.

That’s where we see 39BC - 6.93 = 32BC (rounded off). Since there is no year 0 when moving from BC to AD we add 1 year to arrive at 33 AD >>>

THE NEW COVENANT WEEK IS A TRANSITIONAL PERIOD WHERE THE ENTIRE WEEK CANNOT BE CONSIDERED A LITERAL 7 YEARS (as the 62 x 7) ... since e̲v̲e̲r̲y̲t̲h̲i̲n̲g̲ ̲m̲o̲v̲e̲s̲ ̲t̲o̲ ̲a̲ ̲c̲o̲m̲p̲l̲e̲t̲e̲ ̲7̲0̲t̲h̲ ̲w̲e̲e̲k̲ ̲S̲h̲e̲m̲i̲t̲a̲h̲ ̲i̲n̲ ̲M̲a̲s̲h̲i̲y̲a̲c̲h̲, which is the final spiritual Shemitah kept by Yahusha Himself (as we have no track of genealogies or calendars to point dates from Yahusha to the end, because of the dispersion of the tribes in dispersion of nations).

The prophetic-clock changes to make us look at the 70 Weeks of Daniel WHOLISTICALLY as the Shemitah determined for the people of Yahusha is to fulfil :

1. To finish transgression

2. ⁠to make an end of sins

3. ⁠to make reconciliation for iniquity

4. ⁠to bring in everlasting righteousness

5. ⁠to seal up vision and prophecy

6. ⁠to Anoint Most Set Apart

We are in a waiting period after the abomination of desolation takes place in the middle of the week and since Yahusha is keeping the Shemitah (cycle of sevens within time) we don’t know the day and hour of His return, so we can only discern the signs of times which are plenty and we have gone over them in detail in our Matthew.24 and Rev.13 study.

So the 70 Week Prophecy of Daniel is W͟E͟E͟K͟S͟ ͟O͟F͟ ͟Y͟E͟A͟R͟S͟ ...

Broken down to 7weeks (Daniel 7:25) ie. The command to restore and build Yerushalayim is 7 years (ie. 7 x 7 = 49 years) ...

And from once it's built to Messiah is 62 weeks x 7 = 434 years

Hence, 49 + 434 = 4͟8͟3͟ ͟Y͟E͟A͟R͟S͟ (see chart below)

Why didn't Yahuah just tell Daniel simply that 'after 69 weeks (of years) Messiah the Prince will be cut off (from the time the command went forth to restore and build Yerushalayim?' ... Because Daniel is shown a 7 (Shemitah) oaths/declarations leading to Jubilee in Messiah (as each Shemitah was of 7 years, so it’s broken down as 7̲ ̲x̲ ̲7̲ and 6̲2̲ ̲x̲ ̲7̲ and 1̲ ̲x̲ ̲7̲ to show the 70 WEEKS of Shemitah are determined) ...

M͟A͟R͟K͟'͟S͟ ͟Q͟U͟E͟S͟T͟I͟O͟N͟: Fantastic ... so would you say that the last 3.5 years not accounted for in Daniel (Messiah being cut off in the middle of the New Covenant week) was where John picked up from and starts using the same spiritual language, speaking of the last 3.5 years of human history where Yahusha will be indeed re-establishing His Covenant with His elect once again (and taking them into the wilderness etc) in anticipation and completion of the physical shemitah cycle?

The New Covenant week is 1 week and Messiah is cut off/killed in the 69th week (i.e. 483 years corresponding to 476 years on Solar calendar). Messiah was impaled before the NT week ie. in the 69th week. The Abomination of Desolation is set up in the midst of the New Covenant Week (denoted by the 3.5 days or years/1260 days/42 months or time, times and half-time). T̲H̲E̲S̲E̲ ̲A̲R̲E̲ ̲A̲L̲L̲ ̲F̲I̲G̲U̲R̲A̲T̲I̲V̲E̲ just as the whole New Covenant Week is, as everything transitions to Yahusha our Alahym who keeps the Shemitah!

Actually …. if the first 3.5 goes AFTER Messiah is killed (AD33) then how is He cut off in the middle of the 69th week? Wouldn’t the first 3.5 be Him confirming the Covenant during His 3.5 year ministry? I know the New Covenant Week should start at His death but then how is He cut off in the middle of the week?

...Also you mention the Abomination of Desolation occurring synonymous with the elect being safe in the wilderness while the dragon ravages the global assemblies ... do you suppose this began when Yahusha booted Satan out of Heaven into this lower realm at His death and cleansed the shamayim?

S͟H͟O͟D͟A͟N͟: Yes and that’s in the middle of the 70th week (denoted by 7 which is the New Covenant Week). It’s synonymous with the Two Witnesses killed and their dead bodies lying for 3.5 days (or a short season) of the remaining of the New Covenant Week until the consummation (Yahusha's Return).

The point i'm getting from all this is that when the A̲b̲o̲m̲i̲n̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ ̲o̲f̲ ̲D̲e̲s̲o̲l̲a̲t̲i̲o̲n̲ occurs (satan reigning in the hearts of chosen, living temples, deceiving them back into a carnal-observance of torah sin and death) then we are to understand that THE END IS VERY CLOSE ... where Yahusha says to flee to mountains etc ... ie taken into the wilderness for protection and nourishment away from the dragon's rage and abomination. This wilderness waiting experience is the last end of the 7 Year Covenant Week (having lots of references to 3.5 all thru Revelation) ...
