Many organisations and groups gather on a particular day and have formulated A DOCTRINE OF BREAKING BREAD AND DRINKING WINE to remember the death and resurrection of Messiah in a fleshly behavioural PASSOVER ENTRAPMENT! Their doctrines are formulated by milking only a few key Scriptures from the Gospels, Acts and Paul’s Letters.

If you notice the Gospel accounts, Yahusha chose to eat a meal with His 12 Disciples without the Passover Lamb because HE HIMSELF IS THE TRUE PASSOVER LAMB TO TAKE AWAY SINS. The whole remembrance is about the Passover Lamb, for the killing of the lambs required the supervision of the Levites … and at the exact time Yahusha was hanging on the Torture Stake, the lambs were being slain in the Temple Courtyards. BUT YAHUSHA WAS IN CHARGE OF HIS OWN SACRIFICE AS THE ULTIMATE MELCHIZEDEK PRIEST, and He was also the Lamb who was without blemish and didn’t need the supervision of any Carnal/Earthly Priesthood. Are we following Him into the TRANSITION (cross-over/hebrew) or remaining in the fleshly carnal shadows?

Paul gives us the NEW SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING OF PASSOVER by telling us to PURGE OUT THE OLD LEAVEN i.e. (referring to the Old Covenant Behaviour) so that we are A NEW LUMP i.e. (referring to the New Covenant Behaviour in the New Creation Order). He goes on to say ‘Let us celebrate the Feast, not with old leaven (ie literally removing leaven from houses under the Old Covenant), nor with leaven of malice and wickedness (the behavior that remained in those who followed a Carnal Command), but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth (ONLY TRANSITIONING INTO THE BODY OF YAHUSHA WILL WE BECOME UNLEAVENED WITH A NEW COVENANT BEHAVIOUR). Hence, the celebration of the Passover Feast is in OUR CHANGED BEHAVIOUR by becoming unleavened in Yahusha Alahim.

In Luke 22, Yahusha (when He broke bread) said “For I say to you, I shall not eat of this bread again until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of Alahim.” And when He drank from the cup He said “For I say to you, I will definitely not drink of the fruit of the vine from now until the Kingdom of Alahim comes”. So He was not going to eat of the bread or drink of the wine until the Kingdom of Alahim comes, which is the Covenant Meal He was referring to, WHICH WILL BE THE CONSUMMATION OF THE NEW COVENANT (ALSO KNOWN AS THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB!)

Many think that Yahusha did infact eat bread again (with the two Disciples on the road to Emmaus), but you’ll notice that Yahusha only broke bread and gave it to them to open their eyes of what He was speaking about, and as soon as they recognised Him, He vanished from their eyes … disappeared!! He broke bread and gave it to them, but HE HIMSELF DID NOT EAT ANY (as per His words at the Passover Table).

But didn’t Yahusha say to “Do this in remembrance of Me” when He broke the bread and gave the cup at the Passover Table?

This must be understood in the context of a New Covenant Hebrew Mindset. The word ‘remembrance of Me’ in Hebrew is ᴴ²¹³⁸ ᶻᴬᴷᴬᴿʸ זכרי … translated as ‘MALE CHILD’. Hence, the remembrance was all about the TRANSITION OF THE ‘MALE CHILD’ YAHUSHA WHO CAME FROM THE WOMB AND MATURED INTO THE ADULT ESTEEMED BODY AS OUR DELIVERER. It's all about the Tent of His Body which was not made with hands and is Heavenly and EXPERIENCED THE TRANSITION through suffering and risen power, and so WE ARE IDENTIFIED in His death and resurrection, in His suffering and resurrection first-fruit esteem. THE BREAD AND WINE WERE JUST ELEMENTS (SYMBOLS) depicting His death and resurrection (His suffering and esteem) and when He said “Do this in Remembrance of Me” we must abstractly discern what He actually meant through His Spirit. Yahusha's life fulfilled all prophesies regarding sacrifice and so the only way we are to observe this Feast is by following Him into the same behaviour!

He said "I desire compassion (ie LOVE) and not sacrifice anymore" . . .

The Book of Acts was a TRANSITIONAL PERIOD as the teaching of the Disciples came afresh in the New Covenant Experience by exposing the Torah of Sin and Death Behaviour (but maintaining the Spirit within the Letter). The Transition was not overnight but a gradual experience for the Disciples themselves as Yahusha’s Spirit gave them the understanding. They broke bread from house to house as a Covenant Meal, CONFIRMING THE NEWER UNDERSTANDING which came from the Disciples when households repented to Yahusha. But we can’t formulate a practical doctrine from the beginnings of a transitional period can we (as seen in Acts) ?!

Many of the Corinthian Assembly were partaking unworthily because they were not discerning the body of the Messiah, but just gathering to pig-out, nosh-up and socialise. OUR BODY SHOULD BE IN A SET-APART TRANSITIONING STATE as we mature to receive the final esteemed body reserved for us (like Yahusha’s first-fruit body). The belly (ie flesh) is the testing arena for all the elect, (ie will we overcome it) ... for Yahusha said “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of Alahim” which defines for us what set-apartness is all about as we imitate Yahusha and His behavior in obedience TRANSITIONING INTO HIM (it’s all about His body which is the Tent from above not made with hands).

Paul brings order by asking them to JUDGE THEMSELVES WHERE THEY’RE AT, for when we see where we’re at in the transition, we must keep our eyes on the Tent from Heaven (YAHUSHA) i.e … discerning the Body of Yahusha (where He came from in eternity, His physical journey through the feasts and where He went), and by following Him we will not be condemned with the world, for everything we do will be to TRANSFORM OUR BODIES INTO NEW CREATION ORDERLY BEHAVIOUR.

Correcting our behavior is utmost in our maturity, by discerning the Body of Yahusha. We need to look at Him, His Torah of Life to be IN THE TRANSITION. The emblems (bread and wine) are mere carnal symbols of the flesh and keeps one trapped in a goody goody (self-righteous feeling).

Paul (with a Covenant Hebrew Mindset) is basically saying “IF WANT TO DO THE PASSOVER PROPERLY THEN READ THE INSTRUCTION, ITS PURPOSE, IT’S TRANSITION AND SEE WHERE YOU STAND WITH YAHUSHA (JUDGE YOUR OWN BEHAVIOUR AND WHERE YOU'RE AT IN THE MATURITY PROCESS).”

This is the New Creation Order Behavior we must have. We don’t discard the Old Covenant Instructions just because we are in the New Covenant, we read the commands, understand its shadows, types, modules and purpose ... yet WE ARE NOT IN THE LITERAL COMMANDS BECAUSE THE COMMANDS HAVE TRANSITIONED TO THE SPIRITUAL ROYAL LAWS OF LOVE, SO WE MUST SPIRITUALLY TRANSITION ALSO AND LOOK / DISCERN THE BODY OF YAHUSHA TO INCORPORATE THE NEW BRIDAL BEHAVIOUR, GROANING TO BE CLOTHED FROM THE TENT FROM ABOVE ... (IE ARE WE LOVING LIKE YAHUSHA DOES??) ... We are no longer in the milk of the word (literal ink on the page) but the solid meat with our senses exercised to discern between good and evil.

When the New Covenant Bride finally sees and understands what a Covenant Meal truly is and that her Bridegroom said 'He will not eat or drink of it until He drinks it NEW with us' (referring to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb) we see what He meant and MUST DEVELOP THE UNLEAVENED BREAD OF SINCERITY AND TRUTH BEHAVIOUR (OVERCOME THE SELF-LIFE AND TRANSITION INTO A NICE LOVING PERSON) until we are in our first-fruit bodies like Yahusha, with the transition completed.

SO IS PASSOVER ABOUT LOVE, OR ABOUT LOOKING AT THE MOONPHASES, CALENDARS, SHADOWS AND CARNAL TORAH-INSTRUCTIONS?

IT'S RIDICULOUS AND POINTLESS TO TRY AND KEEP THE SABBATHS AND FEASTS OF YAHUAH IN PAGAN LANDS ANYWAY? ASIDE FROM THE FACT THAT YAHUAH IS NO MORE, HAS DIVORCED HIS OLD BRIDE AND LEFT HIS WORD (THE LETTER AS WRIT) AS A DEAD-CARCASS!

THE APPOINTED TIMES HAVE INDEED BECOME AN ENTRAPMENT ...

FOR WE CANNOT EVEN OBSERVE TORAH-TIMES IN PAGAN LANDS !!

1. The Sabbath Day is listed with the Feasts in Lev 23 as an appointed time for Yisharal.

2. There are so many calendars floating around with each group saying they are right with their calendar. Today we have the lying spirit in the mouth of prophets who are putting the fear of Torah-lessness into people for not observing the Feasts and Sabbaths.

3. The Feast had to be in the place where Yahuah chooses to rest His Name.

4. Jerusalem was the only official place Yahuah chose to rest His Name upon.

5. 3 times a year every male had to appear before Yahuah (not without a gift) at the Feast of Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles.

6. Paul likens the present Jerusalem (in his time) with Hagar the bondwoman and her children … then Revelation calls Jerusalem ‘Sodom and Egypt’.

PSALM 137:4 “How can we sing the song of Yahuah in a foreign land?”

In Hosea 2 Yahuah says He will return to take His grain at harvest time and His new wine in its season, but will Yisharal or Judah be able to offer it? No, of course not, as they will be in captivity/dispersion among the nations. He puts an end to all her joy, her new months, her Sabbaths and all her moedim/feasts.

INFACT HE LATER SAYS HE HATES ALL THEIR CELEBRATIONS, SACRIFICES AND FEASTS BECAUSE OF THEIR IDOLATROUS BEHAVIOUR THEY HAVE MIXED INTO HIS WORD!!

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WEEKLY SABBATH DAY?

The 7th day Sabbath is tied to the land and also the Shemitah Cycle (Yahuah's Time-Keeping of Sevens ... ie 7x7 weeks between Passover and Pentecost). The infinite Alahim made the entire creation by ENTERING INTO IT for 6 days and the 7th day He rested from all His works. The cycle of 7 shows that each day is as a 1000 years and a thousand years as one day. Man is finite and in captivity within the perimeter of these 7,000 years in a Shemitah Cycle of judgment and release.

Yahuah put everything under the Shemitah Cycle of favour and judgment to TRANSITION CREATION INTO FREEDOM FROM SLAVERY TO THE COMPLETENESS OF YAHUSHA ALAHIM. A transition from the physical Shemitah (time-keeping) to the spiritual in Yahusha, in the New Creation Order. We all fall into the sonship inheritance being delivered from the bondage of slavery and this was only possible when Yahusha took a finite position in creation (previously being infinite) coming as the Son and being part of the Shemitah cycle to deliver us from the bondage of slavery. WHEN YAHUAH RESTED ON THE 7TH DAY, HE CEASED FROM ALL HIS WORK AND (AS PAUL SAYS IN HEBREWS) HIS WORK OF DELIVERANCE WAS FINISHED FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THIS WORLD AND COMPLETED IN TIME WHEN HE SUBJECTED HIMSELF TO BE PART OF CREATION IN HUMILITY IE. BY TRANSFORMING HIMSELF AND JOURNEYING US IN HIMSELF AS THE NEW CREATION.

Where was Yahusha impaled? At Galgaltha. This was actually the place where the reproach of Egypt was laid off. The physical circumcision and the physical entry into the Promised Land SHADOWED the Divine Heart Operation and TRANSITION into the New Jerusalem just as Abraham and our fathers never considered Canaan to be the Promised Land (or Jerusalem) but looked towards the Heavenly Country/City whose builder and maker was Alahim.

THERE ARE MANY WHO TEACH THAT YISHARAL OBSERVED THE SABBATH AND THE FEASTS IN THE WILDERNESS OF SINAI I.E. BEFORE THEY ENTERED THE LAND, HENCE WE MUST OBSERVE IT EVEN THOUGH WE ARE OUTSIDE THE LAND!

The Scripture doesn’t record any of the Patriarchs observing any of the appointed times or Sabbaths in their sojourning, and there was no Sabbath or any Feasts observed in Egypt before the Written Torah came (Except for the first Passover which had a lifesaving significance for all the firstborn of Yisharal). This would be the only time (first and last) any Passover would be done on foreign soil as this was only to deliver them from the destroyer.

So if the context of observing this festival was literally related to the land, why was there an INTERIM PASSOVER in the wilderness? (There were actually 3):

The first two were kept under Moses—

(1) In Egypt when Yahuah delivered them and

(2) The second at Sinai, when Yahuah had “brought them to Himself.”

(3) The third is on the other side of the Jordan under Joshua.

Two belong to the Exodus, or going out, and one to the entrance, or coming into the land. THERE WERE NO ANNUAL PASSOVER’S OBSERVANCES IN THE WILDERNESS FOR 40 YEARS! There’s also a huge connection between the Passover and circumcision, for while they wandered in the wilderness, this uncircumcised generation could not observe the Passover Feast. We also need to understand that there was no Sabbath or Feast until the Tabernacle of Witness was set up. And a literal command to build a physical Tabernacle with all its elements was all part of the Torah of Sin and Death for Yahuah said explicitly that HE DOESN’T DWELL IN TABERNACLES MADE BY MAN. His original plan was always to pitch His Tent with us, to dwell within us, just as Paul says WE ARE THE TEMPLE of the Set-Apart Spirit.

SUMMARY:

The Feasts and Sabbath were only to be observed in the Promised Land, the place where Yahuah would rest His Name. And the place was Jerusalem which (Paul explains) is like a Stranger/Hagar in bondage with her children (Sodom and Egypt - destined for destruction). So, THE TRANSITION HAS HAPPENED where we are out of the Promised Land into pagan lands, and we can’t do the Sabbaths and Feasts/Moedim in foreign lands. Yahusha also stated that He will not observe such behaviour until He partakes NEW in the Kingdom of Alahim.

Brothers and Sisters carefully read and come out of the physical Shemitah (cycle of time-keeping) and the carnal elements tied to it (shadows) and TRANSITION to the Spiritual Shemitah (cycle of time-keeping) which means that IN YAHUSHA ALAHIM WHO HIMSELF STANDS IN THE TRANSITION FROM THE INVISIBLE YAHUAH TO BEING THE VISIBLE YAHUSHA TAKING ON THE TRUE TENT WHICH WE MUST PURSUE AS THE GOAL OF THE TORAH. YAHUAH HAS TRANSFORMED HIMSELF AND YOU WON’T FIND HIM ANYWHERE ELSE BUT IN THE PERSON OF YAHUSHA. NOW HUMBLE YOURSELF AND HAVE THE RIGHT BEHAVIOUR OF HIS BRIDAL ELECT.

PASSOVER IS NOT A FEAST OR AN EVENT, BUT THE MAN YAHUSHA ALAHIM WHO’S VOICE WE HEAR MOMENT TO MOMENT, AND FOLLOW HIM THROUGH HIS LIFE AND SUFFERINGS, FULFILLING EACH FEAST … TO TRANSITION AND OVERCOME WITH HIM INTO LOVE AND RECEIVE A CROWN OF ETERNAL LIFE AND EVERLASTING SEAT BY HIS SIDE AT THE MARRIAGE SUPPER AS HIS BRIDE.

THIS IS THE ONLY TRUE FEAST WE LOOK TOWARDS NOW IN PREPARATION … FOR THE TIME IS SHORT …. QUICK, HURRY, ENTER THE COVENANT HEBREW MINDSET OF YAHUSHA’S NEW CREATION ORDER AND ALLOW THE PORTAL ON YOUR HEART TO CONNECT YOU TO HEAVENLY PLACES IN HIM .... ALLOWING HIS LOVE TO COME THROUGH YOU TO OTHERS.

ONLY IN YAHUSHA WILL WE FIND TRUE REST AND PEACE AS WE OPEN THE DOOR TO OUR HEARTS AND FEAST/SUP WITH HIM FOREVER .
