TAKING ON THE MANTLE OF OVERSEER

Scripture warns of any believer taking upon this role, and declares that an overseer who sins (does wrong) their punishment will be double. We travel along in our daily walk of consequences we receive, but aren’t really conscious of Yahusha’s voice telling us to surrender.

At the moment, our Quarry-Masters: Mark & Therase Davidson are taking us through the study of The Revelation. We are doing it in a different way by starting at Chapter22 and going back to Chapter01. Last week we did Revelation Chapter 9, which had a massive impact on all of us, but we didn’t realise its value until now. The Chapter explained the locusts set free from the pit and what they really were in today’s time.

REVELATION 9:17-19

“The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulphur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulphur. A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulphur that came out of their mouths. The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury”.

These verses explain to us what the demonic forces from the pit would be today. They are simply described as PLAGUES. All sicknesses are plagues. This main point we all overlooked, we didnt see it, we missed it! And coming back to review these words, we see how many sicknesses are in the world, and with these sicknesses comes great pain!

Using myself as an example (of spiritual awakening), here am I standing in front of this chapter, and physically i’ve been through a plague and not been aware of it, except for the pain that brought me to consciousness. I am an overseer who has refused to surrender truth to Yahusha. My symptoms of this consequence are two heart attacks, almost touching death, one massive flu attack, then (all of a sudden) a kidney stone was lodged in my urinary tract, causing an infection plague of sepsis (and you know the level of pain in a kidney stone), on top of that I slipped in the shower, landing flat on my buttocks and have had continuous pain for over a week.

Scripture warns that an overseer receives double the pain if they resist truth. So here am I again, standing before this chapter, realising that all these demonic things coming from the pit are described as plagues, which gives us a complete understanding of these creatures from the pit, how they function through the pain of sickness today.

After being through all this, wouldn’t you think I would realise much sooner that I need to confess what i’m holding, and give it over to Yahusha…. how stupid am I to prolong my suffering! All that I went through is my fault because Yahusha prompted me over and over to give up what I was holding.

Since I did this, things are starting to get better all the way around. Even if you’re not an overseer, Yahusha won’t allow us to pass until we are clean. This is the road to perfection.

Please don’t allow yourself to be as stupid as i’ve been. All I can say is… Thank you Yahusha for your loving-kindness and i’m sorry for my stubborn stupidity.
