SCRIPTURAL UNDERSTANDING:
ROMANS 9: 18-24 "So then, He favours whom He wishes, and He hardens whom He wishes. Then you shall say to me, "Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His council?" But who are you, O man, to talk back to Yahuah? Shall that which is formed (fashioned) say to Him who formed it, "Why have you made me like this?" Does not the potter have the authority over the clay, from the same lump make one vessel for value and another not for value? And if Yahuah, desiring to show wrath, and to make His power known, with much patience tolerated the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His esteem on vessels of compassion, which He had prepared beforehand for esteem, even whom He called, not only us of the Yahudim, but also of the nations? As He says,"I shall call them My people, who were not my people, and her beloved who was not beloved."
Why does Yahusha give favour to one and not another? The answer is there in the scripture... He gives favour to whom He wishes! And Im sure that dosn't suit some of us at times, seeing a friend or partner enjoying themselves while others are grovelling, resisting the prompts, despising the discipline.
WHY DOES YAHUSHA STILL FIND FAULT? Yes, that's the question! Have we resisted His advice? We are in a process to be formed into a new being, cut and shaped, to be fitted, and sometimes squeezing into a shape! To be set right by the Word and become stable and secure. Yahusha has authority over us. If we aren't pliable like soft clay, its hard to near impossible to fashion or change the mould. Therefore the opposite behaviour will follow.. worrying, pain, hurt and displeasure.
With this word FASHION in the Hebrew, we can see how Yahuah uses the lump of clay that we are and wants to mould us into a new form, shape us, fashion us with a pattern that He knows will bring us to be VALUABLE to Him, to love Him, to know the riches of His esteem! To be vessels of compassion and hear Yahusha call us His people and BELOVED. Everyone believing on Yahusha will not be put to shame.
