The Narrow and the Wide Gates.

"AND THERE ARE FEW WHO FIND IT!!"

When we look at the meaning of the word “LIFE” in Matt 7:13-14, checking the meaning in the Hebrew Lexicon is most surprising . . . .

“ENTER THROUGH THE NARROW GATE! BECAUSE THE GATE IS WIDE-AND THE WAY IS BROAD-THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION, AND THERE ARE MANY WHO ENTER IN THROUGH IT. BECAUSE THE GATE IS NARROW AND THE WAY IS HARD-PRESSED WHICH LEADS TO "LIFE," AND THERE ARE FEW WHO FIND IT.”

HERE IS THE EXPLANATION OF THE WORD “LIFE” FROM THE HEBREW DICTIONARY. "LIFE": 1870 derek deh'-rek from 1869; a road (as trodden); figuratively, a course of life or mode of action, often adverb:--along, away, because of, + by, conversation, custom, (east-)ward, journey, manner, passenger, through, toward, (high-) (path-)way(-side), whither(-soever).

Here, the Word speaks of A COURSE OF LIFE OR MODE OF ACTION. Doesn’t this speak to us of our BEHAVIOUR and conversation (the manner in which we journey?) The road trodden should be stepped according to the Turah and this is why the Scripture says ‘there are few who find it’.

I love the fact of choosing to walk on and live the Turah knowing that there is a better world coming, an eternal life in the presence of King Yahusha. How amazing will this journey be. We will be going to a place where there is no corruption - this world will be destroyed because it is defiled (unclean). Many choose not to follow Turah and this is why they won't find the narrow gate.
