Exodus 28:29 And Aharon shall bear the names of the sons of Yisharal (His bride) on the breastplate of Right—Ruling over his heart, when he goes into the Set—Apart place, for a remembrance before Yahuah, continually.
Isaiah 59:17 And He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of deliverance on His head. And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and wrapped Himself with ardour (great enthusiasm and passion) as a mantle (robe).

Eph 6:11—18 Put on the complete armour of Yahuah, for you to have power to stand against the schemes of the devil. Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world—rulers of the darkness of this age, against ruach like entities of wickedness in the heavenlies.
BECAUSE OF THIS, TAKE UP THE COMPLETE ARMOUR OF YAHUAH,
So that you have power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all to stand. Stand, then, having girded your waist with TRUTH, and having put on the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having fitted your feet with the PREPARATION of the gospel of peace; above all having taken up the shield of BELIEF with which you shall have power to quench “ALL” the burning arrows of the wicked one. Take up the HELMET of DELIVERANCE, and the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is THE WORD of YAHUAH, PRAYING at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the believers.
1Thes 5:8 But we who are of the day should be sober, putting on the breastplate of rightness and love , and as a helmet the expectation of deliverance.

As we can see, the high priests of the tabernacle/temple, had to dress in a complete uniform with the ephod/breastplate, before entering the Set-Apart place and His Magnificent Presence, or they would be struck dead for disobedience. Today, The Armour of Yahusha plays the same part as the priestly vestments.
From our immersion we have been washed in the blood of Yahusha, we are given a new heart and spirit, we are delivered from the power of sin, and made clean, so that Yahusha can place a seed of His spirit in us. Yahusha then opens a portal/door, through this seed, where we have access to His wonderful presence in the Shamayim. We are told to come boldly into His presence to make our requests made known to Him, and He will give us the desires of our hearts.
EVER WONDER WHY YOUR PRAYERS ARE NEVER ANSWERED ?
There is a way to approach the Master; for the priests they had to be washed clean, cleanse their minds and be correctly dressed with the ephod/breastplate of righteousness. Today we have to approach the Master in the correct attire (our Armour). Our hearts and minds have to be washed in the Water of the Word, our behaviour should be in the standard of Yahusha’s love, with the qualities and character of our armour of intercession.
THIS IS WHY SO MANY FAIL IN THEIR PRAYERS TODAY, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT PROPERLY GENUINE IN THEIR APPROACH, AND DO NOT COME TO THE REQUIRED BEHAVIOUR, THE NEW COVENANT COMMANDS.
