Yahusha's Torture Stake is the Key!

In Galatians 6:14 Paul said to the Galatian believers “but Alahim forbid that I should glory, except in the stake of our Master Yahusha Messiah”. It cannot be over emphasised that the Torture Stake is the key to all Scriptural Interpretation. This is especially so when it comes to that which pertains to the Old and New Covenant.

We notice just how important Yahusha's Torture Stake is in Paul’s writings and it is evident that what happened at the Stake was given by divine revelation to the apostle Paul - so it means alot to him. It became the interpretive key to the relationship between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. This was true not only to Paul but also to the other New Covenant writers, because “Yahusha Impaled” is the key to understanding and experiencing the New Covenant realities.

In fact we may truly say that THE GREATEST FILTER AND TRANSITION OF SPIRITUAL BLOOD-COVENANT TRUTH is found in the Torture Stake of Yahusha Messiah and His perfect shed blood. So let’s consider Paul’s revelation of the Torture Stake in his letters.

A. YAHUSHA’S TORTURE STAKE

The Stake in Corinthians 🪵 ( 1 COR 1:17 )

"For Yahusha sent me not to baptise, but to preach the Gospel: not with wisdom of words, incase His Torture Stake has no effect on them. For the preaching of the Stake is to them that perish foolishness; but to us who are delivered it is the power of Alahim".

Paul says he was sent by Yahusha to preach the Gospel. This message involved the Torture Stake that is Yahusha impaled to those who are perishing. The preaching of the Stake is foolishness... however to those who believe, the Torture Stake is the power of Alahim unto deliverance for both Jews and Gentiles.

The Stake in Galatians 🪵 ( GAL 5:1 & 6:12)

"Stand fast then in the liberty where Yahusha has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage ... It is those who want to look good outwardly who are trying to get you to be circumcised. The only reason they're doing it is to escape suffering for preaching about Yahusha's Stake. For even those who are getting circumcised don’t observe the Torah-Laws".

Paul says he was willing to suffer the offence of the Torture Stake. The religious Jews were the persecutors of Paul because of his revelation of what truly took place at the death of Yahusha Messiah. In the stake of Yahusha, Paul was also impaled to the world, and the world to him. He would only glory now in the Torture Stake and all that took place there, in the mind of Alahim.

The Stake in Ephesians 🪵 ( EPH 2:11 )

"Therefore, remember your former state: you Gentiles by birth — called the Uncircumcised (by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised) and at that time had no Messiah. You were estranged from the national life of Israel. You were foreigners to the covenants embodying Alahim’s promise. You were in this world without hope and without Alahim. But now, you who were once far off have been brought near through the shedding of Yahusha's blood. For He Himself is our peace— He has made us both one and has broken down the walls which divided us, by destroying (in His own body) the enmity caused by the Torah-Laws, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with Himself (from the two groups) a single new humanity and so making peace, 16 and in order to reconcile to Alalhim both in a single body by being executed on a Stake as a criminal and so in Himself, killing that enmity".

Paul says that in Yahusha’s Torture Stake both Jew and Gentile (both circumcision and uncircumcised) were reconciled to Alahim and to each other by the body and blood of Yahusha, for truly the prophesy of the 2 houses, the 2 sticks of Israel coming back together as one was fulfilled in Yahusha's Redemptive work. Even the Gentile (afar off in the nations) and the Jews (still close by) were brought together at the Torture Stake of Yahusha Messiah. Truly both Jew and Gentile become one new man, and the middle wall of partition is broken down between them because of what Yahusha accomplished on the Stake. Those things that kept Jew and Gentile apart were dealt with in the Torture Stake by Yahusha's Blood. Peace is now available. Reconciliation is now available for both, and for all and anyone... through the Torture Stake. Both can be built together as Alahim’s New Divine Temple, a clean habitation by His Spirit and Fire, and it was all made possible through Yahusha’s sacrifice at the Torture Stake. The Torah could never make someone clean, but Yahusha's blood can and does, by transforming the hearts and lives of willing people, allowing them to love His Words and want to behave them!

The Stake in Philippians 🪵 ( PHILIPPIANS 2:5-11 )

"Let your attitude toward one another be governed by your being in union with the Messiah Yahusha: For Though He was in the form of Alahim, He did not regard equality with Alahim something to be possessed by force. On the contrary, He emptied Himself, in that He took the form of a servant by becoming like human beings are. And when He appeared as a human being, He humbled Himself even more by becoming obedient even to death — death on a stake as a criminal! Therefore Alahim raised Him to the highest place and gave Him the Name above every name; that at the name of Yahusha Messiah, every knee will bow in Heaven, on earth and under the earth and every tongue will acknowledge that Yahusha the Messiah is Master (Alahim)

to the glory of Alahim the Father".

Paul says that the humility of Yahusha is seen in His death on the Torture Stake. Though being the fullness of Alahim in physical form, equal with Alahim, as Alahim Himself, Yahusha laid down His reputation. He emptied Himself and took upon Himself the form of a servant. He became a man, a first-fruit new specie of man. He humbled Himself to the death of the Stake in total obedience to His own Divine Word prophesied. On that basis He is raised up exalted and has a Name above every name, all because of His redemptive work at the Torture Stake.

The Stake in Colossians 🪵 ( COL 1:20 & 2:14 )

"And, having made peace through the blood of His Stake, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself (as Alahim).. by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven ... You were dead because of your sins, that is, because of your “foreskin,” your old fleshly nature. But Alahim made you alive along with the Messiah by forgiving you all your sins. He wiped away the handwriting of charges against us. Because of the torah-regulations, it stood as a testimony against us; but he removed it by nailing it to the Torture Stake. Stripping the rulers and authorities of their power, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by means of the Stake".

Again the Torture Stake is seen as the place of reconciliation, of bridging the gap between Heaven and Earth, a connection once severed in the Garden through sin. Alahim reconciled man to Himself and peace was made through the blood of His Torture Stake. Not only was reconciliation and connection made for mankind (Jew or Gentile), but Paul says that various elements of the Old Covenant ceremonial Torah-Law were taken out of the way as Colossians 2 shows. The handwriting of ordinances, involving the matter of meats and drinks, holy days, new moons and Sabbath days were not merely finished and nailed to the Torture Stake (as many declare), but they were physically and literally taken out of the way, transitioning into Spiritual Behaviour that resonates with pleasing Yahusha through His 2 Royal Laws of Love. All these old ‘school-master’ instructions were shadows of things to come... And Yahusha came, He died, He now lives in us fulfilling every portion of His Word in New Temples of daily worship. The reality of this is all in Yahusha Messiah Himself. Another exciting aspect to the Torture Stake is that principalities and powers of Satan‘s hosts were also conquered when Yahusha died. He triumphed over them. He made a display of them as His vanquished foes. And all of this took place in the work of Yahusha on the Torture Stake.

The Stake in Hebrews 🪵 ( HEB 12:1-2 )

"Seeing that we are also surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us ... Looking to Yahusha the author and finisher of our belief; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Torture Stake, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Alahim (in all authority). For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, so you're not wearied and don't faint in your minds. For you have not yet had to resist unto blood, striving against sin".

After Paul lists the names of so many ‘heroes of the belief’ as the great cloud of witnesses in Hebrews chapter 11, he now points us to Yahusha, Who is the author and finisher of not only our belief but also of theirs… for they all lived to see His day and find their lives and experiences fulfilled in Him. All of them endured the trials of their belief. Yahusha endured the Torture Stake and it’s a shame, all for the joy that was set before Him in the Throne of Alahim, which He sat upon as it was His throne originally from the beginning. So from the suffering of the Stake to the joy of the Throne is the path that the author and finisher of our belief walked. In principle all those who run the good race are picking up their Torture Stake to follow Him to the death, to the suffering and to the joy of resurrection and transformation that follows. 

So in the light of all these things, it is no wonder that Paul says he "glorifies in the stake”.

What Yahusha did for us on the Torture Stake officially ends the Old Covenant, and ushers in the New Covenant. At the Torture Stake the Jews “to whom pertain the adoption and Covenants”, and the Gentiles, who were strangers from the Covenants, were both reconciled to Yahusha Messiah, in one body, HIS BODY as deliverer and Alahim. 

At the Stake, Animal Sacrifices, Sabbaths, Feasts, Levitical Priesthood, and the whole of the Tabernacle and Temple services were physically done away with as Yahusha’s Blood was the key ingredient to transform and transpose all of these shadows into their FULLER SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE. The veil was rent in 2 by Yahusha Himself in connection with His rent body on the Torture Stake. Jew and Gentile may now have access to Yahusha Alahim in the Heavenly Shamayim "within the veil"... but only by entering the Kingdom through Him, partaking of His body and blood, discerning correctly and faithfully Who He truly is as Alahim and following Him through this Vein "within the veil".

At the Torture Stake, circumcision, ceremonials of meats and drinks, holy days, new moons, and sabbath days were taken out of the way. They were no longer an external means of righteousness before Yahusha. He didn’t change His mind, it was always supposed to be this way -  A SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCE AND CONNECTION BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH. The physical observances were things that kept Jew and Gentile apart.

They were externals of the Ceremonial Torah-Law, but in no way helped the internal spiritual relationship with Yahusha Alahim. All the things pertaining to the Old Covenant given to Abraham and lifted up officially through Moses ... "the middle wall of partition" between Jew and Gentile have now been broken down by the Torture Stake of Yahusha Messiah. The handwriting of our MORAL CRIMES against His Living Word was nailed to the Torture Stake along with Yahusha. That doesn’t mean what He considers right and wrong is also nailed and void, but merely the fact that our corrupt, weak flesh cannot externally achieve righteousness without the SPIRITUAL FULFILMENT which Yahusha was now providing, of which all those same old shadow-teachings given to Israel pointed to!

So now that Yahusha has broken down every dividing wall, making peace with us through His Torture Stake, no Bridal Believer should ever re-erect this wall or un-nail from the stake, that which was nailed to it! No one should ever be brought back under a yoke of bondage to any man, any system or power ever again. Yahusha’s Stake becomes, what may be called "THE HERMENEUTICAL FILTER" for all that pertains to the Old Covenant.

What on earth does that mean? Who’s Hermen? Well 'Hermeneutical' simple means 'interpreting or understanding the text', so if we don’t factor in the fact that ALL OF SCRIPTURE POINTS FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS TO THIS MAMMOTH EVENT WHEREBY OUR PERFECT ALAHIM DIES AS A MAN IN THE PLACE OF US, THEN DO WE REALLY HAVE THE HERMENEUTICAL FILTER? CAN WE TRULY UNDERSTAND SCRIPTURE OR INTERPRET IT ... DISCERNING IT'S MESSAGE FOR DELIVERANCE?

A very simple and general Principal of Scripture Interpretation is that WE DO NOT USE THE OLD COVENANT TO INTERPRET THE NEW COVENANT!! Sure we should read all Scripture in the order it was written and presented throughout history and divine revelation. But we don’t use the Old Covenants and their varying components as a lense by which to view and interpret how the New Covenant functions … NO! WE MUST USE THE NEW COVENANT FORMED IN YAHUSHA’S NEW BLOOD, TO INTERPRET THE OLD COVENANT, PASSING EVERYTHING THROUGH YAHUSHA’S TORTURE STAKE. In other words, many will point us back to the old historical document for our answers, however its sole purpose was to point people to Yahusha's New Covenant Realities. Some practices go to the Stake and are fulfilled ... finished right there at the Stake. But other things go through the Stake into the New Covenant, transitioning to a higher and spiritual level. Old shadow teachings and Temple worship behaviours go through the stake, but move to a higher and more spiritual level than what old Covenant Temple worship could ever be (externally). As Yahusha said in JOHN 4:20 "Those who worship will do so in Spirit and in Truth".

So when reading any text of Scripture we must listen to Yahusha’s Spirit within and ask ourselves these questions: "Was what i'm reading here fulfilled by Yahusha and transformed in Yahusha? Or, was this completely ended by fulfilment? Did it pass to and through the Stake into New Covenant Behavioural Reality?” Everything must go TO THE STAKE and be examined and filtered, for if it is fulfilled there, then it will never be re-instituted again, either in this age or the age to come. However if it went TO THE STAKE and TRANSITIONED THROUGH THE STAKE, then we need to see its fulfilment in a higher and more spiritual level in the New Covenant Temple of our Bodies individual and globally as Lively Stones.

But understand this: For Yahusha to re-institute any of the elements and ritualism of the Old Covenant is to go back — it's to fall away and fall back to the other side of the Torture Stake again. It would be re-instating that which the Torture Stake fulfilled and finished by fulfilment. It would mean that Yahusha would forsake the New Covenant substance and realities to go back to the Old Covenant shadows and symbols. This would be the greatest insult to Calvary and Yahusha's sacrificial work as our deliverer and mediator. Yahusha will never do this ever! THE NEW COVENANT IS THE LAST COVENANT TO BE MADE. It fulfils in itself all previous Covenants. Yahusha will never ever return to the Old Covenant now that He has instituted and established the Everlasting New Covenant. The Torture Stake is indeed the key to receiving the New Wine in New Wineskins and transitioning out of the Old Wine in Old Wineskins.

B. THE NEW COVENANT

So now that we've looked at the historic and spiritual importance of Yahusha's Torture Stake, let's see what kind of Covenant His New Perfect Blood actually ushered in. HEBREWS 9:15 is where Paul provides some distinctive insights concerning ancient Covenants, Testaments or a will. Yahusha is the mediator of the New Covenant, and wherever a Covenant is made, it necessitates the death of the testator. Why? The testament or will of that person can only come into effect after his death. It is of no strength while the testator is alive. The moment a person makes a last will or "last testament", it obligates them to die, otherwise what was the whole point of making a will? Therefore, when Yahuah prophesied through the mouth of Jeremiah the prophet, that the days would come when He would make a "New Covenant with the House of Israel, and the House of Judah", Yahuah Himself was obligated to die. Implicit in this prophecy is the incarnation of Yahusha Messiah, in order for Alahim to be able to die, because (as we know) Yahuah Alahim was a Spirit and could never die, so the only solution for mankind’s redemption was that perfect blood be shed. Sin entered through a man and had to be removed by the death of a man. SIN = DEATH and the life is in the blood. Therefore Yahuah had to leave His Throne and come to earth in the form of a flesh and blood man Yahusha. But as long as He remained alive, the New Covenant could not come into affect. However when Yahusha said “This is the New Covenant in My blood”… He (as Alahim the testator) obligated Himself to die, and it is only after His death that this New Blood Covenant/Agreement and will comes into effect.

Not only so, generally, a "last will and testament" cancels out all previous directives from the previous Wills or Covenants, although the last Will and Testament may include some things from the previous Covenants. This is the issue the New Covenant believer must recognise. We speak especially here about those elements of the Old Covenant - the first Will and Testament that were "cancelled out" by the New Covenant. The Torture Stake is His death. It is divine bloodshed. Remember Yahusha's body was formed within the womb of his mother Mary, but His blood, His seed was not from His father Joseph. No, it was Divine as Alahim, so the place of this miraculous act of undying love ... this place of bloodshed: the Torture Stake ... well it is the key, isn't it? It either fulfils, cancels out or spiritually transforms all previous Wills or Testament Directives, especially those elements that are not to be found in the New Covenant.

The glory of the New Covenant is that Yahusha (as Alahim) resurrected from the dead and ascended to His Throne in all power and esteem to open the scrolls (previously sealed by Daniel -  and this is all dreams and imagery of course) and then He gave a portion of His Divine Spirit to His followers here on earth, in order to be the executors of His Will and Testament - His last Covenant, and to see that it is interpreted properly to the inheritors of that will, like legal witnesses of what He accomplished right from the old into the new and last Covenant. So no wonder Paul gloried in Yahusha’s Torture Stake as it is the key to understanding that which pertains to the Old or First Covenant and that which pertains to the New or Second Covenant. It is the difference between Abraham, Moses and David's relationship through Old Covenant animal blood …. to Yahusha's relationship fulness in New Covenant blood!

Can you see that Yahusha’s death on the Torture Stake was the only antidote for what happened in the Garden through sin? The only antidote for the snake-bite? The only way for Yahusha (an authentic Hebrew of Royal-Lineage) … to stomp on the head of that serpent of old, called satan and the devil, who thought He’d been victorious by convincing the Jews and Romans to kill off Yahusha, the Almighty Alahim of Heaven and earth ... in fleshly form! But NO! He failed! For Yahusha Arose! Yahusha Ascended! Yahusha took the scrolls and opened them! A war ensued and Satan fell like lightning, vanquished as a foe and banished from the Heavenly dimension never to accuse the brethren again.

Blocked from Shamayim, forced to roam the earth like a savage roaring lion seeking someone, anyone with divine connection to devour in his desperate attempt to regain access to the Throne again. Why? Because despite the blindness of the religious intelligencia and elite, even the enemy knows that the only access to Heavenly Places is through the Torture Stake of Yahusha, whereby He not only shed His perfect, divine blood (the blood of Alahim the spotless lamb, for the forgiveness and atonement of sins both past and future)…. but He also proved through revolutionary behaviour, the heart of a servant King.

Beginning with His humble earthly origins and birth, to the misunderstood power of His ministry and unique form of `a conquering King’. Indeed 'His ways are not our ways and our ways are not His ways'. He came to conquer so much more than just the Roman Occupation, for that would come in time, as every season and era of subjugation comes and goes. No! He came to conquer so much more… the corrupt condition that made mankind the way they are: the seed and the curse of sin, sown in the Garden.

He came to irradiate it, remove it from the equation, legally dissolve it and pay the price for it, remove the crimes against His Word, infact remove all the cultural earthly components of His Covenants and inject His New followers with the spiritual life that both wrote and upheld the Torah of old. The heart of His Everlasting Covenant of love and compassion and kindness, was written on the human hearts of New Living Temples - Lively Stones being fitted together, refined and polished to form His New Covenant Marriage Home, about to arrive very shortly.

So the Scripture (in it’s 66 books of inspired entirety) is a completed and fulfilled work, a historical document and the only the source of life and truth available in this dark world. 'Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will remain'. So never grow tired of reading Yahusha’s Word - indeed study and meditate on it, but don’t forget Hermen …. don’t forget the 'Hermeneutical Filter' of understanding Scripture, whereby everything of old is filtered into a higher, spiritual reality. We don’t use the Old Covenants and their varying components to interpret the New Covenant … NO! We must use the New Covenant (formed in Yahusha’s New Blood), to view, to understand, to interpret the Old Covenants, passing everything through Yahusha’s Torture Stake. 

HIS STAKE IS NOT A SYMBOL OR A BRAND, IT'S NOT JUST A RELIC, AN AMULET, A CHARM TO BE WORN AROUND THE NECK AND ERECTED ON BUILDINGS AS BEASTLY PILLARS OF JEALOUSY AND IDOLATRY, GIVING HOMAGE TO THE SPOOKY REINCARNATION OF NIMROD AS TAMMUZ IN THE BABYLONIAN SWILL OF ABOMINATION! NO! Yahusha’s Torture Stake is the point in history where Yahuah Yirah, (spoken of by Abraham after sparing the life of His son Isaac) … Yahuah Yirah, the place where the mighty Al Shaddai of the mountain would provide the Lamb, He would metamorph and be lifted up for all to see. He would deliver!

'Just as Moses lifted up the brazen serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man Yahusha be lifted up: That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have Eternal Life. Belief doesn’t means to just have happy, hippy positive vibes and thoughts about something,

NO! It means to know something as true, believe it, trust in it, stand on it, guard it and prove it through your obedient behaviour.

SO UNDER YAHUSHA'S NEW COVENANT SPIRITUAL LAW, WE ARE COVERED BY OUR RIGHTEOUS BEHAVIOUR, WHICH IS HIGHER IN YAHUSHA, THAN WORLDLY OR RELIGIOUS LAWS. AS WE'VE SEEN, A COVENANT IS A WORLDLY TRADITION, EXCEPT WHEN YAHUAH GOT INVOLVED AND FORMED AN EVERLASTING SPIRITUAL COVENANT WITH ISRAEL. HE MARRIED HER AS HIS WIFE AND SHE CAME UNDER SPIRITUAL LAW, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. REMEMBER ISRAEL CONSTANTLY BROKE THIS COVENANT BY MIXING PAGAN BELIEFS, TRADITIONS, AND BEHAVIOURS WITH TORAH, DECLARED AS AN ABOMINATION. SHE WAS THEREFORE PUNISHED AND CAST OUT OF THE LAND INTO THE NATIONS, LOSING HER BLOODLINE FOREVER. SOLOMON’S TEMPLE WAS DESTROYED, BLOCKING ISRAEL’S ATTEMPTS TO EVER COMMUNICATE WITH YAHUAH (THE WAY THEY WERE DOING) WITH THEIR MIXTURE. BRINGING UPON THEMSELVES THE CANCELLATION OF THIS EVERLASTING COVENANT. IN WORLDLY TRADITION WHEN ONE SIDE BREAKS A COVENANTAL AGREEMENT, IT IS CANCELLED FOREVER WITH PUNISHMENT - AS ISRAEL RECEIVED! BUT TODAY! ISRAEL DOES NOT ACCEPT THIS CANCELLATION, OR HER PUNISHMENT CONSEQUENCES. AND DECLARES SHE IS STILL THE CHOSEN PEOPLE. EVEN PAUL SAYS THIS FADING SHADOW OF THE OLD COVENANT IS OLD AND DISAPPEARING, AND THAT WAS 2,000 YEARS AGO.

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS IS A GREAT HISTORICAL REFERENCE AND TRUE, BUT YAHUSHA DECLARED A NEW COVENANT WHERE HE CONDENSED THE 10 WORDS INTO 2 SPIRITUAL ROYAL LAWS… AND SO A CANCELLED COVENANT CANNOT BE REINSTATED WITH ITS SHADOW TRADITIONS OVER THE NEW COVENANT… MANY ARE IN BREACH OF SPIRITUAL LAW, BLOCKING THE DOOR OF DELIVERANCE WITH DOCTRINES UNWORTHY OF THE PEOPLE.

Yet Yahusha demonstrated that while we were still yet sinners He died for us in the most torturous pain-staking agony a human could endure …

Yet He did it for the joy that would follow, He walked the Narrow Path and went before us. And now we have this hope and expectation as an anchor for our lives, firm and secure. His deliverance, His vein of transformation allows us to enter the inner sanctuary, behind the veil, where Yahusha our forerunner has entered on our behalf and become a High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

How? Through the blood of His precious Torture Stake. The place where Yahuah Alahim became a man and died to set you free, never again to return to a yoke of bondage again, never to return to the old traditions and sacraments and old covenant shadows again. For He who Yahusha has set free … IS FREE INDEED !!

So Guard your freedom, Preserve your freedom, Cherish it, know who you are in Yahusha’s Royal Economy of Kings and Priests. Do not use your freedom as an opportunity to sin…. No… use it to gird your loins, to run your race and win the crown of life, given to all who intimately know Yahusha through suffering, by picking up their own Torture Stakes and following Him to the death. The death of the self, the fleshly ego, the personality and reputation of a carnal life and lusts and appetites. Give up your life such as it is and you will receive life.

Yahusha is Alahim, is the only being we now acknowledge and worship. Why? Because He is the Narrow Gate for the sheep, the Bread of Life, the Light of the world, the Living waters and Portal Door connection of worlds through His broken body and shed blood -  He made us sharers of His Divine Inheritance not as His servants but as His friends, His eternal Bride. He’s given us direct access to His Throneroom. So claim His blood of a New Covenant, bypass all the naysayers and COME BOLDLY.

There is indeed power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb. You are forgiven child, washed clean, now enter the Narrow Vein and be transformed … go and claim what’s been promised you by the miraculous wonders of Yahusha’s New Covenant Torture Stake! And remember it wasn’t the nails that held Him on there, but His love for you. This is the end, IT IS FINISHED … now go and sin no more !
