Following Yahusha Alahim through His Death / Resurrection Route

HOW TO ENDURE SEVERE TESTING & NOT FAINT!

INTRODUCTION — WHY SUFFERING IS NOT AN ACCIDENT

Suffering is not a malfunction in Scripture.

It is a divine mechanism to ensure results.

From Genesis to Revelation, suffering is shown as the appointed pathway by which Alahim matures, purifies, and reveals His chosen ones. It is the test-pit furnace where belief becomes substance, where words become behaviour, and where the flesh is stripped so that Yahusha's Spirit may rule.

Yahusha did not invent suffering — He entered it, fulfilled it, and transformed it. What was once punishment became participation. What was once discipline became deliverance. What was once death became resurrection life.

IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS NO SUFFERING OF ANY KIND!

WHEN YAHUSHA WALKED AMONG US HE REMOVED PEOPLE'S SUFFERINGS!

THEN HE TOLD US TO FOLLOW HIM!

The Bride is not perfected by comfort.

She is perfected by sharing in His suffering.

1. WHAT “SUFFERING” MEANS IN SCRIPTURE

Hebrew Understanding

The Hebrew mindset does not separate suffering from training/testing.

  • ʿAnah — to be afflicted, humbled, pressed (Gen 16:6; Deut 8:2)→ Not to destroy, but to reveal what is inside!

  • Yasar — to discipline, correct, instruct (Pro 3:11–12)→ Loving yet severe correction, not rejection!

  • Tsaraph — to refine, smelt, purify by fire (Zech 13:9)→ Removal of impurity, not removal of the person!

Suffering in Hebrew thought is purposeful pressure and pain applied by Yahusha Alahim to extract what does not belong in us.

Greek Understanding

The Greek writings deepen this idea:

  • Pathēma — suffering, what one endures (Romans 8:18)

  • Thlipsis — crushing pressure, tribulation (John 16:33)

  • Hypomonē — patient endurance under weight (James 1:2–4)

Suffering is not random pain.

It is weight-bearing obedience.

KABOD IS ALSO DESCRIBED AS ALAHIM'S WEIGHTY PRESENCE!

WE LIVE UNDER THE HAND OF HIS NEW COVENANT LAWS OF LOVE!

2. SUFFERING AS THE PATH OF ALL THE RIGHTEOUS

No righteous one escaped this route.

Adam

Loss before restoration → Exile before return.

Abel

Accepted offering → murdered by religious jealousy.

Noah

Mocked while obedient → delivered through judgment.

Abraham

Promise delayed → son placed on the altar.

Joseph

Dreams → betrayal → pit → prison → rulership.

“You meant evil against me, but Alahim meant it for good.” (GEN 50:20)

Moses

Rejected by his own → wilderness shaping → deliverer formed.

David

Anointed → hunted → refined → enthroned.

“Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now I keep Your word.” (PS 119:67)

The Prophets

Rejected, beaten, imprisoned — yet carried the voice of Alahim.

“They were stoned, sawn in two, tried… of whom the world was not worthy.” (HEB 11:37–38)

All of these are shadows.

Yahusha is the substance.

3. YAHUSHA — THE SUFFERING ALAHIM

Yahusha did not merely suffer — He chose suffering.

“Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by what He suffered.” (HEB 5:8)

This is staggering.

Alahim learned obedience in flesh.

Why?

Because obedience in heaven (with no flesh) is automatic, obedience in the flesh must be chosen under pressure.

Yahusha:

  • Was misunderstood

  • Rejected by His own

  • Accused falsely

  • Betrayed intimately

  • Mocked publicly

  • Impaled naked

  • Abandoned

“He was despised and rejected, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.” (Isaiah 53:3)

Yet He did not retaliate.

“When He was reviled, He did not revile in return.” (1 PET 2:23)

This is the behavioural blueprint of the Bride.

4. “TAKE UP YOUR TORTURE STAKE” — WHAT IT REALLY MEANS

“If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his torture stake daily, and follow Me.” (LUKE 9:23)

This is not poetry.

It is execution language.

The torture stake means:

  • Death to self-rule

  • Death to 'natural' instinctive reaction

  • Death to pride

  • Death to entitlement

It is not about suffering for suffering’s sake —it is about ending the reign of your flesh.

“Those who belong to Messiah have impaled the flesh with its passions and desires.” (GAL 5:24)

You cannot follow Yahusha and keep the old nature alive!

5. THE BLOOD, WORD, SPIRIT, AND FIRE — HOW SUFFERING PURIFIES

Suffering works in layers:

BLOOD — Legal cleansing and purchase

“The blood of Yahusha cleanses us from all sin.” (1 JOHN 1:7)

Removes guilt and accusation. We are blood-bought and owned for His purposes and pleasure!

WORD — Mental washing

“That He might cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word.” (EPH 5:26)

Corrects perception and the way we CHOOSE to think, by ARRESTING ALL THOUGHTS.

SPIRIT BAPTISM — Planting of Incorruptible Seed / Inner animation

“The Spirit gives life.” (2 COR 3:6)

Enables complete obedience by walking thought by thought on His Word.

FIRE BAPTISM — Behavioural refinement

“He will sit as a refiner and purifier.”(MAL 3:3)

Burns what resists.

Fire is where most people withdraw.

The true Bride remains/endures.

6. THE WILDERNESS QUARRY — WHERE SUFFERING SHAPES STONES

Scripture repeatedly places refinement in the wilderness.

“I will bring her into the wilderness and speak to her heart.” (HOSEA 2:14)

The wilderness is:

  • Removal from systems

  • Exposure of motives

  • Silence that reveals hearts

Here, the Bride is reasoned with to become lively stones:

“You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house.” (1 PETER 2:5)

Stones are not polished —they are cut, struck, shaped.

“No stone tool was heard in the house while it was being built.” (1 KINGS 6:7)

The shaping happens before placement.

7. DISCIPLINE, FLOGGING, AND LOVE

“Whom Yahusha loves, He disciplines and flogs.” (HEB 12:6)

Discipline is not anger.

It is investment in His love slave!

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness for those trained by it.” (HEB 12:11)

Those who reject discipline reject sonship.

The Bride accepts it —because she wants to resemble Him.

8. WHY SUFFERING IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE BRIDE

Scripture is explicit:

“If we suffer with Him, we shall also reign with Him.”(ROM 8:17)

No suffering — no reigning.

No Torture Stake — no crown.

No death — no life!

“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the sharing of His sufferings.” (PHILIPP 3:10)

Resurrection power flows through suffering, not around it.

9. FROM DEATH TO RESURRECTION — THE ROUTE NEVER CHANGES

Yahusha’s path:

  1. Humility

  2. Obedience

  3. Suffering

  4. Death

  5. Resurrection

  6. Authority

  7. Eternal Reign on the Throne

The Bride’s path is the same.

“Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit.” (JOHN 12:24)

No death → no fruit.

No burial → no life.

CONCLUSION — WHY THE BRIDE EMBRACES SUFFERING

Suffering:

  • Exposes what belief hides

  • Destroys religious illusion

  • Kills the flesh

  • Sharpens obedience

  • Produces maturity

  • Reveals true love

The Bride does not chase suffering —but she does not flee it — she embraces the tests!

She knows:

  • Fire prepares her

  • Pressure perfects her

  • Discipline proves her sonship

  • Sharing His suffering prepares her for sharing His reign

“Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones.” (REV 14:12)

This is not victimhood.

This is victory through obedience.

To follow Yahusha Alahim is to walk the same road He walked —through death, through fire, through surrender —into resurrection life and eternal reign.

There is no other route.

WHY IS YAHUSHA’S BRIDE SEVERELY TESTED?

Those who truly follow Yahusha are not gently improved.

They are broken, stripped, crushed, burned, disciplined, and re-created

This is not because Yahusha our Alahim is cruel.

It is because nothing of the flesh can inherit eternity.

Nothing temporal can pass into permanency without the severe testing of purification.

1. THE HEBREW FRAME: SONSHIP IS PROVED BY SEVERITY

In ancient Scriptural understanding, love is proven by discipline and flogging, not comfort.

“My son, do not despise the discipline of Alahim, nor loathe His rebuke; for whom Alahim loves He disciplines, as a father the son he delights in.” (PROV 3:11–12)

This discipline is not mild correction.

The underlying meaning is:

  • chastening

  • scourging

  • training through pain

  • restraining through suffering

This is covenant shaping, not punishment.

2. SEVERITY IS THE PROOF OF TRUE SONSHIP

Scripture is explicit and uncomfortable:

“If you are without discipline… then you are illegitimate and not sons.” (HEB 12:8)

Those spared severity are not favoured —they are left untouched.

Yahusha does not refine spectators.

He refines and fire-tests those He claims as His own love slaves!

3. YAHUSHA: KIND AND SEVERE

Paul states it plainly:

“Consider the kindness and the severity of Alahim.” (ROM 11:22)

Modern religion embraces kindness and explains away severity through excuses.

Scripture never does.

Yahusha:

  • heals — then commands repentance

  • forgives — then demands obedience

  • invites — then requires death

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his torture stake daily, and follow Me.” (LUKE 9:23)

A torture stake is not symbolic inconvenience.

IT IS EXECUTION - IT IS DEATH - AND DEATH IS AGONY!

4. THE PATTERN: EVERY RIGHTEOUS ONE WAS SEVERELY DEALT WITH

Adam

Lost the Garden through disobedience.

Entered labour, sweat, blood, and death.

Noah

Mocked for decades.

Separated from the world.

Abraham

Commanded to sacrifice the promise —not gently, but violently.

Jacob

Wrestled until dislocated.

Named only after injury.

“I will not let You go unless You bless me.” (GEN 32:26)

Blessing came through crippling.

Joseph

Betrayed, imprisoned, forgotten —before authority.

Moses

Exiled forty years.

Denied entry into the land.

David

Hunted like an animal —before the throne.

The Prophets

Beaten, rejected, sawn apart, killed.

“They were stoned, sawn in two… afflicted, tormented.” (HEB 11:37)

This is the inheritance line.

5. YAHUSHA: THE ULTIMATE PATTERN OF SEVERE PERFECTION

“Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience through what He suffered.” (HEB 5:8)

If Yahusha learned obedience through suffering, who imagines the Bride will bypass it?

Yahusha was:

  • flogged

  • beaten

  • mocked

  • pierced

  • abandoned

  • crushed

“It pleased Alahim to crush Him.”(ISAIAH 53:10)

Not cruelly — redemptively.

6. WHY THE TESTING IS HARSH, NOT GENTLE

Because the enemy we face is not gentle.

Because the flesh does not die politely.

Because SELF is the most worshipped idol on earth.

The flesh:

  • negotiates

  • delays

  • excuses

  • spiritualises disobedience

So Yahusha Alahim applies fire.

“Our Alahim is a consuming fire.” (HEB 12:29)

Fire does not reason.

Fire burns until only truth remains.

7. THE DEATH OF SELF: THE GREATEST AGONY

The most painful death is not physical.

It is:

  • surrendering control

  • losing reputation

  • abandoning self-rule

  • yielding the will

  • releasing identity

“You are not your own. You were bought with a price.” (1 COR 6:19–20)

This is ownership language.

Paul calls himself:

“A bondservant of Yahusha Messiah.” (ROMANS 1:1)

A bondservant / love-slave is:

  • owned

  • not autonomous

  • submitted by choice

Freedom is not doing whatever you want.

Freedom is no longer being able to do what destroys you!

8. WHY DEMONS LOSE POWER WHEN THE SELF DIES

Unclean demon spirits require:

  • ego

  • reaction

  • offence

  • pride

  • fear

  • desire

So when the self dies:

  • there is nothing to hook into

  • nothing to provoke

  • nothing to manipulate

  • nothing to pester and taunt

“I have been impaled with Messiah; so it is no longer I who live.” (GAL 2:20)

Dead men are not tempted.

9. THE RESULT: JOY BEYOND UNDERSTANDING

On the other side of death is not misery.

It is:

  • peace

  • clarity of thought

  • authority

  • true consciousness

  • a joy not tied to circumstances

“The peace of Alahim, which surpasses all understanding.”(PHILIPPIANS 4:7)

This is not emotional happiness.

This is not outward joy, only when things are good.

This is a settled inner rule.

The sign of a new life is not noise —it is rest.

10. WHY THE BRIDE MUST ENDURE THIS NOW

Because she will rule later.

Because she must be spotless.

Because she must carry authority without corruption.

Because eternity cannot tolerate self-rule.

“If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.”(2 TIM 2:12)

Reigning requires refinement.

Refinement requires fire.

Fire requires surrender.

CONCLUSION

Yahusha’s Bride is not being punished.

She is being TESTED & PREPARED!

Not gently.

Not lightly.

Not comfortably.

But THOROUGHLY & SEVERELY.

The flesh must die.

The self must be impaled.

The will must yield.

The glory must belong to Him alone - He will not share it, and we are forbidden to try and take it!

And when nothing of you remains — everything of Yahusha Alahim the Lamb flows freely.

That is not loss.

That is life eternal !

AFTER THE AGONISING SUFFERING OF DEATH COMES NEW RESURRECTION LIFE & FULNESS OF JOY IN ALL THOSE WHO FALL DOWN AS ETERNALLY GRATEFUL LOVE-SLAVES AND WORSHIP AT THE FEET OF YAHUSHA ALAHIM IN THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE WILDERNESS HOME-QUARRY!
